Keeping Your Watch Healthy

Wood and water just don't mix! So while our watches are water-resistant we try to tell customers to refrain from getting their watches consistently wet. They are oiled and prepared for getting splashed on and everyday wear. The important thing to remember is to NEVER shower with them or swim with them. The wood will swell causing leaks into the mechanism of the watch which will result in water damage.

Here is what you can do!

If your watch gets wet, try to dry it off as quickly as you can. If you are worried about protecting the wood and you want to help to make it more water-resistant, you can gently apply some mineral oil or coconut oil. Put the oil on a rag or soft cloth and sparingly coat the watch! Let it dry and you should be as good as new!
